Systems Support Specialist - Full-Time - Information Systems

Type: Full-time

The Information Systems System Support Specialist is responsible for installation, integration, and conversion of hardware including PC, network and telecommunications, software and applications, as well as the training, education and support of end-users at White Mountain Regional Medical Center (WMRMC). Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. Under the direction of the Director of Information Systems, applies understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution to all computer end-users.

Required Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience
Must possess a basic knowledge of computer, network, and telecommunications devices
1-year experience in Tier I or higher desktop and network administration/support; vendor or consultant experience may be appropriate.

Preferred Education and Experience
Associates Degree in Computer Sciences
Exposure to hospital operations  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital office setting open Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with flexibility in work schedule required to complete responsibilities of the job and as approved by the department director. On-call as assigned by department director required.
