Physical Therapy Assistant - Full-Time - Rehabilitation Services

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is a clinical position that performs the components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by the supervising physical therapist providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient care provided at WMRMC. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides services under the direct supervision of the physical therapist utilizing the established standards of care and practice for all patient populations served by the White Mountain Regional Medical Center, Rehabilitation Department. 

This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.  

Full-Time With Benefits

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program 

Required Licenses & Certifications
AZ Physical Therapist Assistant License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Experience
Two (2) years experience in patient rehabilitation setting
