Plant Services Technician - Full-Time - Plant Services

Type: Full-time

The Plant Services Technician is a staff position responsible for providing basic maintenance preventative and corrective work to the facility.  Building maintenance activities include but are not limited to general fire alarm systems, plumbing, stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as steam boilers, generators, HVAC equipment, water softeners, compressors and other auxiliary equipment to provide utility services. The Technician may have responsibility for other duties which include security, grounds keeping, and snow removal as directed by the Plant Services Manager. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. Under the supervision of the Plant Services Manager, the Technician exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge in performing a variety of building maintenance and operational services for the facility. 

This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.  

Full-Time With Benefits

Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
Two (2) years of diversified work experience as a maintenance technician with demonstrated maintenance or related skills

Required Licensees & Certificates
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Valid Driver’s license

Preferred Certifications
EAP Freon Certification
